Julia’s main teachers are her mom Anette, Shiva Rea, and Twee Merrigan. She has also studied with Ana Forrest, Dharma Mittra, Simon Low and Jordan Bloom amongst others. Her early interest in dance, ballett and other sports, such as Tae Kwon Do and  horsebackriding, has shaped not only her sense of bodycontrol, flexibility and strength range but an enormous love and understanding of coming together as one, in the many aspects of living and breathing in the world. Singing and playng the piano, as well as having a BA in Fine Arts of Photography, her creative background is versatile. This she uses to her advantage when teaching.A restless spirit, and eager to learn and to grow up fast, Julia always was ahead of her classmates and could not wait to get started with ”real life”, as she saw it. She was anxious to build her own home, and start a business at an early age.The word Yoga was never used in her home, although her mother was always immersed in the world of Yoga. In that sense, without knowing it as a word, concept and its history, Yoga was allways around.Speeding up fast forward:
Today, she teaches and runs together with her mom, Tempel Yoga, a studio, holistic Yoga shop and body-mind concept developed by her mom. Tempel Yoga has given her all the opportunities she has been looking for, to teach and live yoga, run a business and use her creative talents in many different ways. When not teaching and working at Tempel Yoga, she travels to one of her many second homes; Casa Prana, by he magical Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Here, her family stays during the winter time, to practice yoga, and live ”Pura Vida” slow. She also travels to meet up with fellow yogi(ni) friends, study with other teachers and to assist Shiva Rea and Twee Merrigan around the world.Enjoy meeting up with her luminous spirit and teachings either at one of her regular classes or workshops at Tempel Yoga, or somewhere along her trail around the world. Please do not hesitate to contact for any information or questions you might have.
